Message Yes maybe the oil pickup is also sucking air; however, on most cars, the crank bearings get lubed by the crank counterweights sloshing in the crankcase oil. If the oil level is sliding over too far on one side of the pan due to high G's; it may allowing the crank bearings to run w/o lubrication. gordo
